Bring Back Our Girls Abuja Venue Invaded By Rented “Market Women”

h2bh4h ch3h bh ah5The Unity Fountain in Abuja that has since last few weeks served as a daily gathering place for the campaigners of #BringBackOurGirls was today invaded by market women suspected to be rented crowd from vested interests. These women posed as market women, pretending to be selling foodstuffs and were armed with bells with which they scouted for “willing buyers”, an apparent script to disrupt the daily gathering of Bring Back Our girls Campaigners.

An eye witness said that chairs belonging to the group campaigning for the release of the Chibok girls were smashed while men of the Nigerian Police were said to be present but choose to ignore the situation. Images from the scene sent in by an eyewitness are attached above.
