Dontom Unleashes Album with Akon @ Ibari Ogwa Village

As the Nigerian music industry repositions, so the entertainers aims to the international market, Dontom the Putu Putu N’Ofe crooner seem not to be left behind as he recently played his newest album featuring the Senegalese and Konvict star musician, Akon to the listening pleasure of his fans at the ever entertainment haven in the East of the Niger, Ibari Ogwa Village.

The 16 tracks album which was released under his label Puturama Records is titled “The Revolution,” according to him it was earlier released at his motherland Uyo, Akwa Ibom State before the tour that brought him to Imo State.

Accepting the album, the CEO Ibari Ogwa Village, Mr. Chukwudi Ofoha expressed satisfaction with the music that comprises different blend of genre. Furthering, he described the maverick musician as the Nigerian music act of the future.

Dontom who is currently embarking on European musical tour for his new album, recalled on the Akon connection as when he was the only Nigerian musician that performed at the Global African Cup of Nations final, “while performing, Akon picked interest on the Kind of music I sing, then he called for the feature, and then was the birth of my track Flexing Dollar,” he recalled.
